Teosest: The work is made of plywood, with acrylic painting on top. In this piece, a mysterious flower found in an old archive is being studied. The artist offers the viewer a riddle, leaving them to decide for themselves what kind of flower this might be.
Kunstnikust: The artist graduated from Tartu Kunstikool and is currently working at Südalinna Teater. His works have been exhibited in Berlin as well as across Estonia. In 2022, he was nominated for the title of “Cultural Figure of Tartu”. At present, the artist leads an independent art project, “Carnival Groteska”, where he explores the intersections of contemporary art, theater, and performance.
